Designed 2 Delight progressive challenge- Autumn Mums

The Designed 2 Delight free digi for this week is called Autumn Mums and was actually a set of images with a sentiment, and thanks to one of the DT members at D2D I learned something new.   With the right computer program you can re-color your digi stamps, so instead of a black line drawing you can print it out whatever color line drawing you desire.  I have wanted to do this several times in the past but didn't know it could be done.  The designer used one of the digis from the Autumn Mums set and printed it as a background paper using 4 different colors.  It looks so cool.  This doesn't make sense here so please go to the D2D blog and check it out.
This is such a fun challenge.  The first Friday of the month you can get the freebie to start the month off or you can jump in anytime during the month by purchasing that week's featured digi.  As long as you participate each week you get sent a new freebie for the following week.
Today we actually got to vote (on Facebook) for our freebie for next week which comes tomorrow, and if the vote holds steady it's going to be a really cute Halloween image.
Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy making some cards Saturday.  It IS World Card Making Day after all!!!
In the great words of Emerson, "One of the most beautiful compensations in life is that no man can help another without helping himself."
So with that being said,
make it a good day for someone else and it'll come back to you.

Winner for my Disney/Pixar Blog Hop Candy

First of all, I want to thank my new followers who "signed on" during the Disney/ Pixar hop.  I have done my best to come around and "follow you back" but there were some that I could not connect with.  If I didn't follow you please send me a message with a link to your blog so I can find you.
Now for all you Disney lovers, I hope you've posted your projects in the Disney/Pixar Link Up Party.

We want to see your Disney Pixar inspired scrapbook layouts, cards and other creations . . . The other category can include banners, cake/cupcake, decorations, centerpieces, wall décor, party favors . . . anything at all.

To include your projects in the Disney Pixar Hop Link Up Party:
Click HERE to post a link to scrapbook layouts
Click HERE to post your cards
Click HERE to post any other creation
It will allow people to preview your project and then go to your blog to learn more about you and the project you created.  I can't wait to see what you all design and create!

And now for the winner of my blog candy....well y'all, I still can't copy 'Randy' the way he looks on my screen (now I know why some people just photograph the little result box and post the photo.)  I can at least get the results to show up and here they are. (I removed multiple comments so that there was only one for each commenter.)

Cute apron and love the Mickey card! Especially love your homemade Mickey embossing card. Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
P.S. I like the Mickey Dazzles. Thanks!
Congratulations Denise!  Please send me your address so I can get your Dazzles pack in the mail to you.  I will be sending you an email as well, but just in case it goes into your junk/spam folder.

Quick question for everyone:  How are you celebrating World Card Making Day this Saturday?

Disney/Pixar Blog Hop #3

Hey there, hi there, ho there, I'm so glad you've stopped by for Shawn & Melissa's 3rd Disney/Pixar Blog Hop.
My project today is a little welcome home gift for my daughter who got married last Saturday.  She and the new Son-in-law got home last night from their honeymoon and will be coming over later today.  She loves Eeyore so I wanted to make something for her with him on it.

I used fabric with fusible webbing on the back but I'm really interested in the new iron on vinyl that I've seen on a couple of other blogs.  Have any of you tried it and if so what did you think?  Please let me know!   If it's worth "half a hoot" I"m going to try it on my next apron (a Mickey Christmas one for me) just so I don't have to seal around all the edges of the image like I had to do with the fabric on this one.
I won't bore you with the details but if you have any questions about the project please feel free to ask.

Here's a simple little card I made using my homemade embossing folder from the last Disney hop.  Just wanted to show another project using it.  If you're interested, the tutorial for that is HERE.

I've tried to come up with a new game to play today, (the ones for the previous 2 hops were great and so much fun to read,)  but I'm sorry I'm coming up dry, I think it's a delayed reaction/crash from last weekend, and besides I know you want to get on with the hop, so just leave me a comment with your choice for the blog candy.
A. an assortment of 3-D Halloween/Fall embellishments.
B. a collection of Mickey Dazzles.
You have until Tuesday, 6:00 PM to comment.  I will post the winner Tuesday night so be sure & check back to see if you've won.
You don't have to be a follower,  but I would be honored if you did become one and if by chance I should reach 400 I will be adding more candy. Now hang on to your hat cause Ellen is next and they don't call her Cardmonkey for nothin'.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
