OWH'ers you need to grab this if you haven't already

This past weekend was the OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop and Paula, from Handmade by Paula gave us this wonderful free One Print Card Kit (HERE.)  Below are a few of the cards I've been making with her kit.

Used my new Hero Arts Operation Write Home fundraiser set.

Lots of pieces left to make more!
I have suggested that this kit be used for a future OWH challenge.  Can I get any backers?

Thanks Paula!  Looking forward to more of your great One Print Card Kits.

OWH VCMP #7

Challenge # 7 for OWH VCMP is make a summer time card.

As I said previously, I am trying to use up some old stuff (I know, I know.... remember the IKEA effect) but anyway, here's another of my very first digi stamps I ever printed out & colored that's been sitting in a box for a couple of years.  This one was done before I knew not to print them out so big and at a time when I only had maybe a dozen Copics and some Bic Markers and chalks.   I sure wish I could edit these photos, but I'm not on my regular computer & my old trusty camera finally died so yeah, it is what it is, off center, wonky lighting and all.
The digi stamp is by Bugaboo.
SHOUT OUT & thank you to Jessica E. the most loyal & dependable blog buddy & greatest encourager around, and probably the only person who will read this, lol.

OWH VCMP challenge #3

Challenge #3 for the OWH Virtual Card Making Party- make romance/love cards & use a tutorial from the OWH Pinterest boards.

This one was so much fun I didn't stop @ one but did 3 versions of the same card.  I used several ideas from several different tutorials: using a sketch, using layers, embossing, just to name a few.
Sramps used: "Easy Events" by Stampin Up & "Greetings" set by TPC Studio.  The papers are from an old pad by Making Memories that I can't seem to use up.

OWH VCMP challenge #2

2nd challenge for the OWH Virtual Card Making Party is make a child's card using a sketch.

Started out trying to make a card using sketch #79 but the more I "fiddled" with it the worse things got & it totally ended up nothing like the sketch.

So, back to the drawing board & a new sketch (this time #52 flipped vertically) and this is what I got:

Challenge # 1- Make "Missing You" cards sponsored by Our Daily Bread Designs

My goal for this "Party" is to use up as many & as much old papers, supplies, & colored stamped images (of which I have a box full) as I can & hopefully not fall prey to the IKEA effect that Sandy warned us about a couple of months ago.
This first card uses one of the very first digi stamps I ever printed & colored (but never used.)  The original colors were all wrong for the papers I had chosen, but that's one of the many wonderful things about Copics- you can change & manipulate colors.

Recolored to match papers I was using (flash not working-so very dark)
I'm sorry I don't have the equipment or the set up to make decent pictures and I'm afraid these are not showing up well enough to really show the difference but in person there is quite a noticeable difference in the image.
