One last post before I head off to the wedding.

This is for the Designed 2 Delight weekly challenge. I couldn't let the week go by without at least making my weekly entry even tho' I really should have been doing other things. The wedding is Saturday and so far this week has been unbelievable-- for example: spent Sunday afternoon in the emergency room with the bride to be (gall bladder attack we think, she's never had trouble before or possibly a kidney stone.)  She started her new job on Monday and was so sick but couldn't miss her first day so she had to tough it thru & all I did was worry about her all day.  Thank heaven she's a nurse so if she passed out at least she was in a good place for it.  Today the darling son comes down with a stomach virus so no one wants to breath around here now, and something we ordered for the wedding hasn't arrived yet, they're saying it will be here tomorrow.  I hope so because we leave Friday morning.  The groom's parents just decided to invite people that they wanted to at the last minute without the courtesy or consideration of even asking or telling me.  All this and 3 close family members gravely ill.  One, we don't know if he'll make it thru the week.  Yep, that's the way my week has gone, but hey, everything is OK  cause I know that God is in control, and it wouldn't be a wedding without some stress now would it?!

Do you have a "wedding week woes" kind of story, if so please share!  I would so love to hear your's.
I will be back next week so until then...have a great weekend and y'all hold the fort down till I get back.

The wheelbarrow image is a digi called Autumn Harvest by Designed 2 Delight.
The pumpkin was stamped by an older wood & rubber stamp I've had a while.  I also used my paper crimper which has been in the drawer for eons...and I colored everything with NO, NOT my Copics, I used Bic Markers.  Hmmmm, I don't imagine I'll be doing that again in the future, that is unless I absolutely have too.
I will say tho' that the colors in this card don't look near as "off" in person as they do in this picture.

  1. WOW girl, what a week this has been for you!!! I seriously can not believe it! I hope everything ends up going perfectly and that everyone gets feeling better! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Your card is absolutely GORGEOUS. I haven't used my paper crimper in over a year, but wow, what a fun look. And your image is beautiful. If I could make Bic markers look that good I would be in heaven! You are amazing.

I can't think of any crazy or fun wedding week stories, or else I would definitely share. Take care! Hugs- Glora
