New stamps to play with

I LOVE clearance sales, and that's how these funny little characters ended up at my house.  (I don't care if they are old and out of style, I think they're cute.)  And once I play with them a little more, and get used to them, they'll make nice cards for our soldiers to send home to their sweeties.

It never ceases to amaze me the way photos turn out. Sometimes they don't show the detail and look washed out, other times they pick up way more than the naked eye normally sees. The 'greens' look much more blended in real life than they appear in these pictures. I guess THAT"S why they make photo editing software.

The stamps are by Stampendous.

HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY 4th EVERYONE!!!

  3. Tami, I just read your comment on my post that I won a cartridge from Joy!! Thanks so much for letting me know. I hadn't seen that yet. I'm so excited, who'd a thunk I could win something from Joy from 785 responses!!! I've been remiss in visiting your blog, and I see such great cards you've made. They're terrific. Might have to scraplift a few ideas with all your special fold cards. Love 'em!! Thanks again, Tami--I'd share the cart with you if I could.--Pat N.

  7. Great Great cards....I buy up old stamps as well and they are new to me. I also love to revisit my old cards. The fact that you are also using them for OWH is an added bonus. Know what you mean about photography....haha I deal with it all the time...however, i think your photos capture the moment and have me inspired to revisit that same monkey stamp. Everything else on your card must had been hand-painted.
